The Teaching Professor

Description

Founded in 1987 as a monthly newsletter, The Teaching Professor helps college faculty improve students’ learning. Over the years, the publication has served as a guide for educators who teach in a wide range of disciplines, across modalities, and at all kinds of higher ed institutions. Now published weekly online, The Teaching Professor offers readers thoughtful advice on a wealth of critical topics, including planning and designing courses; promoting academic integrity; increasing student engagement; responding to course evaluations and feedback; dealing with difficult students; and developing effective activities and assignments.


Instructions

New User Access:

1. Go to the registration page: https://www.magnapubs.com/profile/join-sitelicense/6a9c180b1b297e80ad979694685a9224.
2. In the "New User" section, enter your email address, first name, last name, and password. Select Register.
3. Select "My Account". In the "Subscriptions" section, click the orange button that says "Go To Teaching Professor".

Creating an account is required only once. After registration, users may log in at any time using their email address and password and will have unlimited access from any computer, on or off campus.

Existing User Access:

1. Go to magnapubs.com.
2. Select "Login", and input your username and password.
3. Select "My Account". In the "Subscriptions" section, click the orange button that says "Go To Teaching Professor".
3. If you receive a message that your email is already registered, enter your email address and Magna password in the Existing User section and select Login. On the next page, click Join Team to be added to the group subscription.
4. If you do not remember your password, select "Lost your password". The recovery email will have the subject line "Magnapubs.com: Password Recovery."
